TAMA 2026 ELECTION SCHEDULE
TAMA 2026 Board and Executive Committee announce the below schedule for conducting elections to elect candidates for all TAMA positions as defined in the current TAMA constitution/by-laws, including the Executive Committee for 2027 and Board of Directors (2027-28 term).

ELECTION GUIDELINES
Please read these before submitting a nomination below.
Guidelines for Board of Directors Nominations
- Candidates must be proposed and seconded by TAMA Life Members only.
- Submit the nomination using the online form below by 9:00 PM ET, Sunday, October 11, 2026.
- Nominations received after the above-mentioned deadline will be rejected.
- A non-refundable fee of $200 is paid as part of the online form, and must be received by 9:00 PM ET, Sunday, October 11, 2026.
- The Election Committee will verify the nominations by contacting the proposers using the phone numbers provided.
- To be eligible, candidates must have been a TAMA Life Member since 2023.
- Candidates who have served two consecutive terms in the same TAMA position are not eligible to run for the same position for a third consecutive term.
- To withdraw a nomination, email elections@tama.org by 9:00 PM ET, Friday, October 16, 2026.
Guidelines for Executive Committee Nominations
- Candidates must be proposed and seconded by TAMA Life Members only.
- The contested position must be specified as listed in the TAMA Constitution and Bylaws.
- A candidate may not contest for more than one position in the same election.
- Submit the nomination using the online form below by 9:00 PM ET, Sunday, October 11, 2026.
- Nominations received after the above-mentioned deadline will be rejected.
- A non-refundable fee of $100 is paid as part of the online form, and must be received by 9:00 PM ET, Sunday, October 11, 2026.
- To be eligible to contest for a position in the Executive Committee, the candidate must be a TAMA Life Member by June 30, 2025.
- Candidates who have served two consecutive terms in the same TAMA position are not eligible to run for the same position for a third consecutive term.
- To withdraw a nomination, email elections@tama.org by 9:00 PM ET, Friday, October 16, 2026.

Campaign Guidelines
- TAMA will not share members' telephone numbers or email addresses with candidates or any other individuals.
- The Election Committee requests that all candidates refrain from calling or emailing TAMA members to solicit votes for themselves or other candidates. Please respect the privacy of TAMA members throughout the election process.
- All candidates will have an equal opportunity to reach TAMA members and solicit votes through the TAMA newsletter, which will feature the profiles of all candidates.

The TAMA Board has provided us with guidelines regarding the campaign for the elections for the 2013 Board / EC positions. They are as follows.
- TAMA will not distribute Telephone numbers and e-mail address of TAMA members to the contestants or anyone.
- Contestant should not make phone call to TAMA Members soliciting support to vote for themselves or other contestant during this election.
- Contestants should not send individual or group e-mails soliciting support or asking for vote in this election.
- Violation of b and c above mentioned will disqualify the contestant from this election.
- All the contestants will have a fair and equal chance to reach the TAMA members for soliciting vote through TAMA NEWS LETTER containing the profiles of the all the contestants.
The Decision of the Election Committee is final.
