TAMA celebrates the festivals that matter to Telugu families, and runs programs all year. Most events are open to everyone, not just members.
Festivals through the year
Sankranthi Sambaralu
January. Music, dance, food, and family to celebrate the harvest season. Past celebrations have drawn close to 2,000 people.
Ugadi
Spring. The Telugu New Year, celebrated with cultural programs. Cultural registrations for the latest Ugadi event are closed.
Bathukamma and Dussehra
Fall. Grand celebrations with cultural programs and community service, drawing over a thousand participants.
Deepavali
Fall. The festival of lights, celebrated together as a community.
KidsFest
Competitions for children of all ages, a social hour for families, cultural programs, and dinner.

Sahiti Sadassu literary meets, musical nights, Telugu movie screenings, and Independence Day flag hoisting.
All year round
- Mana Badi: a volunteer-run Telugu school for young kids, held on weekends.
- Free Medical Clinic: free care for the uninsured. The clinic reopened on Jan 7, 2026.
- Summer picnic and sports tournaments for the whole family.
